I live off it. eat it every day but some varieties are horrible and watery. much prefer my own but I've had some decent shop bought ones as well. going to a cafe for Sunday lunch tomorrow that sells their own. it's excellent. we'll pick up a few containers if there is any available...

usual Saturday night butt not sure what's going on with the sweet potato fries at the moment. guess it's a different variety of sweet potato but it isn't working well. shall have to try our own I guess for next week.
Salmon and prosciutto tapas.
Looks pretty but I find that a weird combination - ham with smoked salmon.
I used to hate it but now I quite like it. I do tend to avoid though because its mega calories in my book.

That looks wonderful.
I flipped when I saw that name, because I've never heard of it before until last night, when I was going through some cookbooks looking for nut recipes and came across Torta Sbrisolona and thought, "That's what I want to make!"
I kept saying the name over and over, because it sounds so beautiful, until MrsT asked me who this "Miss Bralona is and why do you keep saying her name?!"
That's a beauty of a cake.

If it's any consolation, even many Italians can't say that. I have heard this cake called many ways and rarely the right ones.
In the end, the most popular is 'the one that crumbles'.
