there is one here that's 52 calories per portion. I usually only have 1½portions. a brand called pipel

Yes, there are lower cal ones here but the problem I have is that I think, 'just another bit'. I find its one of those things that when I like it, I want more. For some reason, despite its relatively high calories it doesn't seem to fill me up, so I could easily eat half a tub or more.

I'm being very strict with myself and my diet. I'm down +24kg and it's only through weighing out portions that I've achieved that. so everything is weighed. ½ a portion on each rice cracker. along with 33g of tofu or there abouts and a teaspoon of a chutney.

it's only eating out that we don't worry but in Australia, all restaurants have to give the nutritional info of their dishes. sometimes it is there on the menu or the wall, other times it is available on request. I guess it must be a legal requirement? murphyscreek but it was the first time I'd seen places like KFC & Maccas showing the calories etc per item when I arrived in Australia 5½ years ago.

It's been a requirement for quite a while that fast food outlets have to show the kilojoules total of any individual or meal deals, alongside the recommended daily intake total.

not for today - but found a mail order source for U-8 fresh, dry pack, sea scallops ( 8 per pound/454g)
our local fish monger has good scallops, but the 16-20 count per pound . . . and size wise most are the 20 per pound...

some good eating coming . . .
