Another challenge entry, but I may not get it written up until tomorrow.

Prunes, stewed in some Merlot, walnuts, honey, and lemon, with a slice of pound cake under there.
 
The reception kicked off with samosas ... all credit to the team, who went ahead and made the pastry for 120 .
Then we served (buffet style) sabzi panchmel (5 vegetable curry), chicken ishtu (boneless chicken in coconut milk), rice and peas, chutneys & hot pickle, and for dessert, kheer ( rice pudding with bits of fruit in it!)
