I'll be there tomorrow, that's enough time to defrost that piece of heifer, don't ya think?I didn't have that tomahawk, but I did have steak, a Prime NY Strip. Cooked sous vide, then quickly seared in a cast iron skillet. Medium rare, of course. I used some Bisto gravy granules to make a peppercorn gravy.

Last night's dinner was beef stewed in stout beer with airfryer sweet potatoes (that could have used more time in the airfryer). Usually I'd make this with Guinness, but portuguese stout beer was cheaper and it tasted just as good.

Spring roll shaped samosas with some grass.
I made those around two weeks ago and they were not very spicy. After that time in the freezer they've gained quite a lot of heat.

This isn't worth clogging up a new thread for, just a quick question. How loud is my Kitchenaid supposed to be? It's quite loud. Not as much as say a blow drier or a blender, but I always thought they were quieter than what this actually is. 
I think mine is fairly loud. Was the fish "too wet" being that size? I've always had better luck with thinner cuts of fish, it seems to balance out the "fish to batter" ratio better for me.
