I think mine is fairly loud. A good check is just to go out to YT and listen to a couple of people run theirs and see how yours compares.This isn't worth clogging up a new thread for, just a quick question. How loud is my Kitchenaid supposed to be? It's quite loud. Not as much as say a blow drier or a blender, but I always thought they were quieter than what this actually is.
Was the fish "too wet" being that size? I've always had better luck with thinner cuts of fish, it seems to balance out the "fish to batter" ratio better for me.Fish and chips for me, and some kind of chicken thing for my wife (mushroom sauce and potatoes):
