You look so happy and relaxed! I loved too Luxembourg garden (well, who doesn’t love it? ☺️). I walked barefoot on the grass (it was allowed) while drinking something I don’t remember, but possibly a coffee.
There were moments of bliss, yes, definitely. But also moments of rushing, exhaustion and overwhelm. It is good though, that, memorized, are kept only the blissful and beautiful sights and experiences. I wish we could have sat in the Luxemb Garden longer, it really is beautiful. I loved the colour of those gorgeous flowers in the stone vases. And the weather was perfect.

What a view, did you actually see the Luxembourg gardens from your room?

Did you enjoy your trip?
We couldn’t see the gardens from our room, but it was just a block or so from the hotel.

We’re enjoying it more than we expected. We’re leaving France today, and right now, we’re stuck in the legendary Paris traffic, heading for the train station. We’ve barley moved in 15 minutes.

oh lovely, I am happy for you both that you enjoyed it. The traffic is quite the struggle, yes, hang on and good luck. We needed 45 minutes from our hotel at La Defense to the airport by bus, which I think was very good.
Have a safe trip home.

Legging behind a bit, but some of the dishes that made me happy in the last week:

Chicken thigh in spelt flour sauce over polenta.

A veal steak cut, that was downmarked in a Spar supermarket, slow cooked, in a spelt flour sauce, over plain white rice.

Spelt, dates, apple mousse and corn flour muffins.
