Ok, much better pizza tonight:

Same dough as yesterday, but that last pic shows what sitting in the fridge overnight will accomplish. That edge crust was just the right amount of crispy on the outside, soft as a ball of cotton and moist on the inside.

Toppings on that are pecorino (twice), crushed red pepper flakes, mozzarella, homemade sauce, olive tapenade, and pickled Italian cherry peppers.
 
I haven’t been posting on this thread much lately since my broken hand means I can’t cook, but I did eat this delicious brisket poutine today. My husband tipped the food truck guy really well and he “accidentally” gave us extra brisket.

Perfect looking eggs. Everytime I do them my wifes are perfect but I always break 1 if not 2 of mine. The harder I try the worst it ends up.

I thought it was a government conspiracy, because that always happens to me too. The harder I try not to break the yolks, they always break, and then I have to get another one to replace them and I already put the eggs away in the fridge, then after I fail 3 more times and have many many swear words at said eggs, the first eggs are already half way done before you add the replacement ones. 😂
 
Toasted sammy last night with antibiotics. This morning earl and biscuits with antibiotics. Lunch ?

Did you find out what you caught? Must not be a cold, the flu or any other virus if they put you on antibiotics. Upper respiratory infection?

So hubby rang up at lunch asking if it was OK to go to a very short notice work's meal out for evening meal. I said yes and cancelled making our meal until tomorrow.

Just as I was boiling the kettle at 6pm he rang to say he was on his way home. The do was off...

🤷‍♀️

So he'll get reheated pasta when he gets home instead of the pasta, tofu, strawberry & feta salad that we were going to have. Grrr

Part of my birthday lunch at a restaurant at Como Lake was

Chickpea hummus with goat’s cheese, toasted pine nuts, dried Crusco red pepper and lemon zest and roasted cockerel paired with roasted mini potatoes in a balsamic vinegar sauce.

Sorry no pics, I forgot to take them 🫡
