Roasted tomato soup
Wife was condemned to another 5 days with her foot up, so we worked out a card game yesterday afternoon. 3 friends turned up with a nice bottle of bubbly, and I made a salade nicoise for the end of the game. None left!

Niçoise is a very favourite salad of mine. You serve yours differently to me.
Up until yesterday, I used to put the potatoes on the bottom, the tomato quarters N,S,E and W, then the egg quarters in between the tomatoes and the tuna and other bits in the middle. Yesterday, I decided to do it differently, for no particular reason
A few months ago there was a post about Salade Nicoise and, later on, I just did a little bit of research and was very surprised. I'll try and dig it out.
liked the look of it too and I'd never heard of it either and a search yielded no results other than Fukujinzuke which is a Japanese pickle. Could it be Focaccia? Doesn't look like that at all though. Please enlighten us SatNavSaysStraightOn!
