What did you eat/cook today (February 2017)?

Tonight will be steak, jalapeños stuffed with cheese product, either pasta or potatoes and a veggie (thinking Brussels Sprouts) to be named later.
 
Here is last night's Chicken Vindaloo. I'll post up a recipe later:

Tonight a simple vegetarian vegetable and bean stew with swede, leeks, shredded green cabbage and butter beans and lots of herbs both dried and fresh. French bread to accompany. And if any is left over I'll photograph it tomorrow.

A gift from my neice at Christmas, A lot of the recipes are very accessable, there are only two ingrediants that you won't have if you already cook oriental food and they are Korean chilli paste and chilli powder. Both may be available at your Chinese supermarket or if not definitely on line and they have good shelf lives.

Thank you. I might order it to feed my cookery book addiction. I like Asian food and I cook a lot of what might be politely called 'fusion' dishes.
 
I baked a chocolate cake for Valentine's day. Its one third eaten and the rest will no doubt disappear later.
