I find "al dente" almost impossible with bought pasta, but extremely easy with home made.Yesterday evening's dinner: broccoli, anchovy, garlic and lemon pasta with a touch of peperoncino. Done and dusted in 30 minutes. Made me think once again how simple and delicious Italian pasta dishes are. The hardest thing was getting the pasta cooked perfectly "al dente"
