Interesting. I lived in Florida for most of my life until about 20 years ago and I have no idea. It looks like a chicken bacon sandwich but that's not particularly regional.

Is this a well known dish? Being in the UK I'm not very familiar with Southern cooking. It looks similar to Monterey chicken but that isn't Southern...
