Perfect matching with the sea and the parasol
I'm posting this with a heavy heart...😥😔☹
I am giving away all my hobby materials, as I no longer have the desire to do anything with them. It is a lot of work with very little recognition. I am extremely tired, and have very little time to use them ...😥
Please don't ask any questions, as I can't handle talking about it anymore.
Below is a list of materials available.
Serious enquiries only please.
Thanks for reading and understanding.

Luckily things have changed - or have they?
This is from my last call to my parents. I was talking to my mom while she was puttering around the kitchen:My gran passed in 2018, prior to, her neighbours Bert and Ginny, both well into their 80s, every day she warmed up the milk before pouring it into his tea, she did everything around the house-different era.
I love that. Here, the gathering place for gentlemen of a certain age is McD's - about six or eight retired farmers will show up about 7AM and stay through lunch, taking over a couple of booths and tables.Last night we went out for a meal, sitting behind TVC were 3 people of a certain age, their conversations were like something from the The Two Ronnie's sketch show,
This is from my last call to my parents. I was talking to my mom while she was puttering around the kitchen:
"What're doing?"
"Just fixin' some breakfast. He wants oatmeal."
<clank clank noises as Mom gets out a pan and makes breakfast while we talk. She finishes the oatmeal and walks it over to my dad>
"...and Bobby stopped by yesterday. He's getting so tall and-"
<Dad loudly says, "Aw, take this garbage away! It's too sweet! I can't eat this! How could a feller eat something so sweet?!">
"I swear, I'm gonna kill 'im one of these days. He says I can't do anything right any more!"
"Well...tell him to have a bowl of cereal."
"I have a mind to! I really do!"
<clank clank clank>
"What're you doing now?"
"Making His Majesty more oatmeal."
My mom has complained and complained and complained about, well, everything for years and years, but doesn't ever get that she has a choice in how she reacts to things. He's lucky it wasn't me. I probably would have taken it from him, dumped it in his lap, and definitely would have told him to make it his d@%n self then if he didn't like it.
A lot of people don't seem to acknowledge they have a choice on how to react to things, or that the only thing they can control is their own behaviour and that's often easier to do than trying to "fix" other peopleMy mom has complained and complained and complained about, well, everything for years and years, but doesn't ever get that she has a choice in how she reacts to things.
MrsT has never done that, but there have been times when she hasn't liked something I made and let me know about it. My answer is usually, "You know where the cereal is," and she's 100% ok with that.

Now that is something I miss. We now live about as far as you can from the sea in England. (about 1.5 hours drive). Have a quick trip planned this month. Just the thought is making me smile. There is something about the sound of the sea crashing on the shore.
