You know, when I first set out on my own I was gifted an old cast iron frying pan. In LA, it really doesn't get very cold, and so I never had a heater. I eventually worked out that turning on the stove with the frying pan warmed up my little apt nicely on the rare chilly morning.

One fateful week, we had a cold snap and I left the stove on all day and it ended up burning off all the carbon that accumulated. My mom was piiiiiiiiiiised when she eventually visited. 🤣

On the really cold mornings here, i do the cooking early to help warm up the sitting room/dining room/kitchen area

MrsT uses the rules around how to clean various kitchen items (like cast iron) to get out of washing the dishes. :laugh:

I think it’s a very simple one, and maybe that’s the problem, you’re looking for a deeper, cleverer meaning.

It’s simply a play on Elon Musk’s name…Elon Musk…Elon’s Musk (“musk” literally meaning the natural bodily secretions animals use to mark their territories, and figuratively meaning someone’s natural odor, and it’s usually implied to have a somewhat viscerally sexual meaning, like a pheromone).

So it’s funny just in the sense of his name, but also because he’s always running around doing and saying crazy things, like challenging Putin to a fistfight, etc - so fellas, if you want to be more like Elon, just spray some of his musk all over you!

I just didn't recognise his name. But I now realise its in the news because he is talking about taking over twitter. I'd watched /listened to that news over the last few days but not registered his name.

And there was me thinking there was a naughty meaning!
