So, after a day with your sister, how's your sanity? And why did you not buy a pie!!!!
She talks a lot, and just goes from one subject to the other, sometimes with no warning and mid-sentence; very jarring for me mentally, but I’m ok.

I’d rather have bought more doughnuts than a pie!

I have a fondness for cream sticks in particular. I haven't had one in over 5 years though.

Looks good, was slightly concerned by the 3 July use by date before remembering the ordering

I wish there was a formal grading system in the UK, its hard to know if you are paying a premium for higher quality or just paying too much.

Yikes! I went for groceries this morning and the price hikes on some items was nearly 30%! And that was at Walmart.
Yeah they predicted the same price rises here too yesterday in the newspaper, and well, anytime there's speculation of higher prices you can be sure Dutch business will hike their prices up, never to come down again. We're known as a greedy nation for a reason. Not looking forward to this at all, but I guess it's better than the alternative. Or living elsewhere on the planet where things aren't as good as they are here.

I love Martinelli's Apple juices and they have several varieties. Yesterday, I picked up the following ...

Uh-oh, I am seeing some ingredients for Cincinnati chili in there.

CD
Yes, I even bought legitimate Skyline shredded cheese. I will not only be making Cincinnati-style chili, but I’ll be demonstrating how to put together each way (two-way, three-way, etc).

Also a cabbage vibe. :)
Yes, and because my cooking experience is anchored in Midwest US (which is to say, German/Central Euro), I can take just a few ingredients (cabbage, potatoes, kielbasa/meat) and make 19 different dishes.
