I'm getting chickens. Done with this BS profit margin...
I was simply pointing out that you can and people do put eggs in the post (and they do hatch as well, just not in the postal system). So it's not impossible. It would cost more to post it than she's paying at the store.
They’d have to be shipped refrigerated, since our eggs are washed. Why can't you?
I often buy fertile eggs through the postal system. Each egg needs to be wrapped individually and then put back in the egg box before the egg box is wrapped extensively. But if it can survive the Australian postal system, I'm sure it could survive the American system.
Our eggs aren't fertilized...I'm just having this vision of the eggs hatching in the mailman's bag...
And the look on his face![]()
But you’d have a pet for a very long time then wouldn’t you because how could you part with it?Our eggs aren't fertilized...
But "Cheep cheep cheep" in the mail pouch would be interesting!
That really surprises me. For whatever reason, probably because it feels like a very “medieval” spice and when I think medieval, I think of England, it seems like you should be able to buy it on every street corner there.Because mace is no longer readily available.
It used to until recently be available everywhere and certainly features in Christmas dishes. It must have fallen very far out of favour to have disappeared from the shelves, tbh I don’t really understand why it’s not availableThat really surprises me. Here, I have to make a little effort, but I can readily find it, and not only that, I can find it from a major spice/herb company, not just some specialty/premium brand.
I love mace, it’s one of my absolute favorites.
I live in the woods! It's almost normal for the stand in USPS driver to say they couldn't find the house...It’s arrived already!

People who dream of living out in the sticks take note - fast delivery is great!
Only kidding but I now live on the edge of a conurbation (progress ay!) and I have to say it has it’s advantages!
Ah well they say that to me too and if you saw where I lived you’d know how ridiculous that is.I live in the woods! It's almost normal for the stand in USPS driver to say they couldn't find the house...
Right! I mean, there's a mailbox with a number *like all the rest* along the route... Lazy I'd say...Ah well they say that to me too and if you saw where I lived you’d know how ridiculous that is.
I think they see it and think hmph thats a bit off route I’ll leave it here, or I’ll deliver it tomorrow!
