What will you be watching on TV tonight (2024)?

Well, last night:

Sort of an Italian Canterbury Tales. It was quite bawdy!

^^^ Alas, while Udo was heroic in the film, playing a witchfinder’s apprentice with a heart, he didn’t fare well in the end:

At least he got the girl…sort of.

Oh, it’s worth noting that on Sunday, we finally got through the last of all 140 episodes of Midsomer Murders. We shall be starting Shetland in its place.

The internet is bubbling with rumors that MM, after a single new episode in April, won’t be back for a while…ITV released their upcoming schedule, and it’s nowhere to be found. We shall see, I suppose.

Last night, we watched 1986 medieval murder mystery movie “The Name of the Rose,” with Sean Connery and Christian Slater.

Did not like. I don’t care if Connery did win a BAFTA for it and it’s based on a best-selling and highly-regarded book, that dog dragged and dragged, took a big breath, squared its shoulders, and dragged some more.

I watched a movie with Ryan Reynolds called "The Adam Project". I liked.

We watched Unfrosted, the vaguely sort of true story of the Pop-Tart.

It’s gotten very mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it - we loved it! Tons of cameos, ridiculously stupid parodies and humor. It was a blast to watch.
