Ramekin.Yeah, most bars here will give you a sample - either out of a little shot glass, or a flight glass (if they offer flights) or, as MrsT found out yesterday, a little plastic to-go container, such as you’d see for dipping sauce.
Did you notice there are 3 "m"s in hummus in the distiller's plate? Ah the humm-mus amongus. I'll have a beer and the pretzel and beer cheese. I've never had a Benedictine before and have no idea what it is, but I am not sure I would like that much. I do like cucumber and cream cheese but not sure about them both together...and with potato chips?

A malt has malt powder in it. Kind of a milkshake with added flavor. My mom would also use it to make dusty roads - ice cream with malt powder sprinkled on top. I love banana malts from Sonic or Red Robin.
I've had malted milkshakes before. Just never heard it called a malt without the milkshake part added.
I always liked malted milk balls when I was a kid. Same thing?
