Whatcha drinking (2024)?

For the saffron challenge (and I love the name of this), a Saffron Leisure:

I just tossed it in there. I didn’t even know there was a right-side up for them. :laugh:

They look like spiders to me. I don’t like them.
I don’t like them either, because I’m not a fan of that anise, licorice-y flavour.

Now that you’ve pointed out that they look like spiders, I have an extra reason to not like them!

I had ‘em and the recipe said to use ‘em, so in they went, creepy little things that they are.

It’s funny…I’d never used star anise until probably 18 months ago, for a recipe for a challenge here, no doubt, and I can’t really recall using them much since, but after yesterday’s cocktails, I have only one left. 🤷🏻‍♂️
