Vanilla latte and (tap)( water, that comes unasked for, customary along with any coffee you may order over here...

It is even considered careless of the coffee shop or the waiter if he does not bring the water...

I do remember it is not the practice in all countries...and have read in this thread just now too...

It’s usually a money-raising thing - MrsT’s money went toward the nature preserve, and she’s also the sponsor of a single stone in the Tower of London, and for her donation, she has a certificate identifying which stone she’s adopted.
