Sounds like exactly what I need to do. At 51 years old I reckon I can clear, clean and repair everything and maybe have to do very little to the house until I pop my clogs

So we were up early today to visit the chinaman. Local identity who has a market garden. Wife bought peas in the pod for freezing for xmas day. These will supplement ours from the garden. $10 a kg. We got 2kgs.
Home again to regroup. Out later for few items at supermarket.
Rang a mate (sparky) booked him for Wednesday to replace my top element in my oven. Current one is kaput!!

Plans for today:
It's my Mother's Birthday, so DH & I will go over to her place, take her gifts to put under her Christmas Tree, as well give her Birthday gifts: See's Candies box of Nuts & Chews and a lovely seasonal Fresh Cut Paper arrangement (she has a bad habit of killing plants)
I also have a bunch of homemade frozen meals to take over to her... I'm trying to get her away from buying those supermarket TV dinners packed with sodium!
We'll sit and visit for a bit and then load her and her walker into the car for linner (late lunch/early dinner) out at one of her favorite spots.
