It's now 8 a.m. Showered and drinking water. I will only have one small glass of champagne before we leave because I am driving.
You and that table, me and the weeds on the far side of the house. Just can’t seem to make it over there.I can’t believe I’m still typing this.. that bl**dy table again!!

Congratulations to the happy couple!
I slept in late, and I’ve been mostly puttering around this morning - dishwasher’s running, load of laundry’s on. I made up some quick pickled red cabbage and that’s cooling.
Plans for this afternoon are mostly more puttering around the house and hopefully getting some stuff accomplished. Currently trying to decide what kind of cocktail I’d like to have before dinner…

Plans for today: it's 3pm, and so far, I've done absolutely nothing (except make savoury pancakes for breakfast).
Looks like the rest of the day is going to be the same.

I’ve managed to make breakfast, pickle some peppers, strip a rotisserie chicken (meat to be used for my first saffron entry, and the skin crisped up in the oven and divided between the two of us), and I’m about to start that saffron entry…
I love both of their names!
