Plans for today (2024)

I think if any of my cousins (on one side of my family) were to suddenly show up, I’d be hiding my checkbook.

Have a great time!

No worries here. His marriage break up was really bad on him. He went into his own world for years. I visited him twice in Sydney 35 years ago. His new partner might have a positive effect on him?????
I'll know in a few hours.??.

Honestly when I read your posts I’m struck that you’re very nice person. I think some of these folk you know who have had life thrown at them are lucky to have such a chilled out friend!

Right enough delaying, I have to start my day proper and get jobs done.
I’m hoping to squeeze in making some vegan icecream, when I say icecream I mean whipped frozen cream cos I can’t be bothered with all that churning, it’s too hard on the hands!

No plans today except work…and right now, my calendar is wide open. I may actually get something done!

My plans this evening so far involve being interrupted by a spider.

So my cousin was here. His wife ( kept that quiet) reckons we have met. I dont remember her. Anyhow they bought s bottle of red. I didnt see it til after they left. Wife put cheese and crackers out. Great reminiscences . Really pleased they called. I gave them some whitebait for their brekky this morning. I've just PM them on messenger . Of the 3 boys in his family they all have prostate cancer at varying stages. A male thing on their dads side. Their dad came to nz from liverpool uk.

Plans for today: already half-completed, fortunately. We've got to open another bank account so had to get some ID printed off ( my printer has decided to go on strike). Got the copies, anyway.
Polish style gherkins will be lovingly placed in sterilised jars (in about 15 minutes time) and then will have boiling spiced vinegar poured all over them.
50 samosas delivered to local Beer joint - hopefully they'll like them (with my tamarind chutney) and buy hundreds and thousands of them, thus making me rich.
English language (TOEFL) class at 3pm.
No idea what I'm going to eat today, but it might be an egg curry.
