They go blackened in the freezer but still taste fantastic.
I have one here, but it struggles to over winter, so I suspect it would need a greenhouse in the UK. In fact looking at mine, I think it has died this winter sadly.I wonder if you could quite easily grow a curry leaf plant n your garden there? I suppose the problem would be obtaining the plant or seed in the first place...
In the Embassy residence, they've got a curry plant about 10ft high. Then, when I was about to leave, she gave me three little curry leaf plants in a pot (I'll take a photo tomorrow) so problem solved!
