Plans for today (2024)

Mines from south Africa and she's tall and built like a linebacker. I can't understand what she's saying much of the time but she doesn't talk much. She's awesome.

Yes, that would be an appropriate sound to make during a massage!

Because they pay rent on the building, so that needs justification?

Is booze cheaper in Kentucky? Besides bourbon...
Bottle of Baileys was $4 more in Kentucky.

My DH is like you, although he's proud of me when I score crazy good deals. I'd drive to 3 different stores to save $20. He'd rather just get it all at one place, regardless of the cost.
I’m like your DH - I feel like my time is the most valuable thing of all.

Yikes! Ooh I want layered shots. Kahlua, Bailey's, and peppermint schnapps layered in a tall, narrow shot glass makes a lovely after dinner drink.

I generally have a lot of time on my hands and he's completely retired...his time is cheap as chips!

That’s what’s known as an After 5 shot around here. Very first layered drink I ever learned to make.
It's been known as an after 5 shot everywhere for probably a very long time. I used to make them at the bar I worked at in Florida when I was in my early 20s.

Dang it! I used to could get their coffee in 'Vegas at the International Mkt but now I'm okay with Community Coffee from Walmart.
The kind with the chicory, right? Yum. Community was my coffee choice when I lived in Florida. They have that brand up here but it's pricey.

They still sell the Cafe DuMonde at grocery stores in NW Florida (Navarre Publix had it when I was there in October).

Yes, with chicory. Just in case they don't have it on hand I buy chicory and have it available for mixing into my grounds. Chicory is *loaded* with antioxidants...
