Plans for today (2025)

Are those hummus filled?

No just a bit too warm for the egg mixture to firm up and displaying the signs of someone who drank too much whisky while assembling them 😂

I used the ‘pikobi’ egg filling which is essentially a bit of mayo (not much), sesame oil, chilli n garlic sauce (pretty much a type of sriracha and soy sauce for some saltiness which darkens it down.
Went well with MG’s egg marinade.
Recipe - Honeyed sesame eggs

I have some more to assemble later. Just waiting for this headache to bog off!

They look really good irregardless of the whiskey! 😉

Spoon food from the Field Doctor. Chicken Korma. Lots of veg in it. Very nice.

Fed/Bank holiday today, so thinking of reorganizing a cupboard. I’ve also got to write up two pickle challenge recipes and possibly make a third.

Planning on roasting another chicken today - this time trying Jacques Pepin’s cast iron flippy-chicken method.

Went to the mechanic because the car was making funny noises.
Wrote up an ingredients list (with more or less exact quantities for 10) for the Indian food course on Saturday.
Now I have to make a thousand calls to tyre companies because the front tyres are (well let's be honest) dire.
TOEFL interview with a new client at 4pm.

Do you have a version of an MOT over there?
