Straciatella is originally a cream based gelato flavor with pieces of shaved dark chocolate in it.
I´m very wary of any foodstuffs which describe themselves as "Vegetarian/Vegan", and then follow that with a carnivorous label:
"Vegan Pork Sausage", "Vegetarian Chicken Wings", "Vegan Short Ribs", etc. Just doesn´t sound right to me. In the back of my mind, I think someone, somewhere is just jumping on a bandwagon....
but never mind, it´s probably totally irrational.
A while ago, on another site, some people raved about Gregg`s Vegan Sausage Rolls. Since there´s a Gregg`s right next door, I thought I´d try one.
Surprisingly good, seriously tasty, and a great start to the day!
