My old keyboard was a shiny clack sounding when I type, letters had rubbed off the keys and the d&s stopped working which screws up my full name
I now have a D**l, it is a slightly rough texture and the keys are more flush, so much nicer to use.

So DH didn't get up early and call the heating people, he waited and called about 30 minutes ago and now they aren't sure they can make it out today cuz they are swamped. It's about 28F out right now but we have a space heater in the bedroom and a gas wall unit in the front hall that opens into the kitchen, so we are not freezing (it's about 67F in the house right now). I hope they can come out today because I like it at 70 much better. Guess I will figure out a way to use the oven tonight at dinner. Meanwhile I am getting ready for work.

I found someone who can come out around 3 today, YAY! I don't know why he only called one company (the one we have always used) and gave up after finding out they were likely to busy to make it today...but now we are good to go!

We’re due for another 15 cm tomorrow, and an additional 20 cm on Sunday! PROPER WINTER WEATHER YAY!

Maybe I should haul my snowshoes out of the garage!

You can’t see it there, really, but there’s seed under the snow on the deck - the birds were making like ducks on the millpond, with their little feathery bottoms pointing straight up, diving for the seed.
