What did you cook or eat today (April 2020)?

Glad you are liking curry. What was the recipe? Beet slaw is a rather unusual accompaniment for curry though! :)
Recipe? :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :roflmao:
Beets may not be the best accompaniment - trying to use up the beets in the garden.

Vegetarian Mexican spaghetti with a sauce made of ground toasted almonds, roasted poblanos, garlic, oregano, spinach and crema. It's been a really long time since we had this and I told Craig we need to make it more often.

Meatloaf, mashies and green beans. I've always made meatloaf with bread crumbs/panade, but we decided to try oats this time since we had them. Think we'll be making it that way from now on.

Has Craig tried smoking a meatloaf, yet. Goooood stuff. Use a cold meatloaf mix so it can go on the grill-grate with no pan. Put a drip pan under it -- it makes a mess without one.

I'll pass. Not that fond of smoky stuff, though I'll eat it once in a while.

I got some huge chicken drumsticks from the Kroger Manager's Specials section. Five big drums for $2.55!

I seasoned them and tossed them on the gasser (Weber gas grill) with my smoke-tube smoke generator.

Quite tasty, although I went a bit heavy on the cayenne pepper. Just a quick phone picture. A little soft.
