Arroz con pollo, AKA chicken and yellow rice.

I saw a "kitchen hack" on Farcebook yesterday which suggested that adding lemon juice to the rice cooker it would prevent the rice sticking together. I tried it today (with lime juice) and the result was virtually porridge!

I had to start again.

That was strange. The "start again" rice was looser than normal.

This with hot butter chicken. My initial reaction was that the chicken wasn't hot but it didn't take long..........

Have you ever tried a spicy peanut sauce? A good friend of mine made some sort of chicken thing with spicy peanut sauce and coconut milk and rice.

Yes. I was meaning spicy as that is the only sort I've tried. Coconut milk/cream is a no for me due to an intolerance and I'm not keen on the taste anyway. I think I have the same issue with peanuts as with tahini - its that thick creamy yet dryish mouthfeel.
