Coffee for my foggy brain. I think this is my fifth coffee ever. I am starting to like it!

That’s a French onion soup, with the addition of small cubes of beef, quite good.

MrsT’s deconstructed shrimp cocktail, which she was very pleased with.

I didn’t bother with the salads, just mixed greens, dressings (blue cheese for her, fresh herb vinaigrette for me) were house-made and tasty.

Two pics of my filet, unusual for me to order that, but it was delicious.

They also served a basket of house-baked breads - white rolls, a chocolate bread, and their specialty, a cinnamon-clove nut bread.

We were so full, we opted out of dessert and are going back for that and boozy coffees tomorrow night.

This all looks really good!

. I pound out some fatty loin chops and brown them in olive oil. Move them aside and add some garlic and butter, sage, and a bit of white wine. Reduce for a couple of minutes then squeeze half a lemon. Check for seasoning. Should be good to go.
