The first jalapeño burger I've had in yonks. This one was pork with grass and raw onion.

I added a portion of dry cauliflower and potato curry.

Although "Santa Maria" described the jalapeños as hot I beg to differ. However, they were very tasty.

Pickled jalapeños are never as hot as fresh ones. The pickling process tones down the heat.

It’s been non stop over here. Can’t wait for a 2 week break. I haven’t done any Xmas baking and if it happens it may happen between Xmas & NYE. Maybe.

We had the fam over (brother in law with 3rd wife and 4 of his 5 kids) yesterday. Was really lovely to catch up. They stayed for the evening meal & we had a penne bolognese al forno and salad with garlic bread.

The week before we had our niece, her hubs and their 4 kids here plus an extra family friend who was having a birthday. Big bbq with lots of sides. I don’t think I posted about it here. So much food.

Plus a beach picnic mid week. Low key. Just burrito bowls in lunch boxes and some wine while the sun went down.

Sunday lunch
lettuce, spring onions, sprouted beans, chickpeas and lentils, carrot & mayonnaise, red pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, roasted Brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze, asparagus & courgettes

What type of beans are you sprouting?

We had a boxed meal delivered by my husbands workplace.
