Almost forgot to add my lunch-in-the-car, a fish sandwich...

Hey mate, that looks good. But I was under the impression that (like me) you weren't a big fan of fish. In saying that, am doing a fish dish for the tommy-arto-thrasher today.

How in blazes can anybody from Australia, who eats bugs (lobsters) by the basket full, not like fish? If I lived down there, anywhere near the Great Barrier Reef, I'd be a fish fiend.

I had a stressful afternoon at work after my very light lunch of salad leaves, cucumber, onion, capsicum & canned tuna.

I desperately wanted a beef & mushroom pie but it was 31°c and I didn’t want to walk 15 minutes to the bakery, so I went to the cafe next to work. No pues left but a chicken burrito wrap.

Chicken, avo, brown rice, black beans, red capsicum, cheese, corn, spinach & salsa in a flour tortilla put into a sandwich press.

It hit the spot.

I might make a riff on it in bowl/salad form when we host my husbands diabetic cousin after Xmas.

Tasty only eats fish from Long John Silvers, a fast food fish place. It is all fried. It is greasy, very greasy, but a good number of people love it.

And from chip shops in the UK (and Ireland...mustn't forget the Irish).

I actually drove by Captain D's (another fast-food fish place) in order to go to LJS's.
