Homemade ciabatta

So far, started the day with free hotel breakfast. NO PHOTO! A couple of sausage patties, an egg puck, and some potatoes "roasted" in a crock pot.

Mille-Feuille shabu shabu prepped and ready to cook later. I just have to make the spicy sauce that is a condiment for it .

Salted the prime rib for tomorrow this morning so it's doing its thing on a rack in the refrigerator.

Christmas Eve evening meal, Teryaki hot smoked salmon, crab, and a pickle salad. Followed by half of the Black Iron chocolate and orange roulade with vanilla liquer cream. Accompanied by alcohol free prosecco and the music of Sigur Ros.
