Pork chops marinated (is that the verb?) in soy sauce and onion slices, with potatoes, baked for little over 2 hours, came out delicious. Very soft and great taste. So I am making a repeat, for tomorrow. Just as we come back from kid's volleyball training, this evening, the marinade will have had done its thing.
I cooked/soaked a wholegrain couscous for the second batch of yesterda'ys meat, to go as side.
I might do potatoes again for tomorrow. we love them combined.
I cooked a tom/carrot/onion/garlic sauce for speedy lunches over any pasta, just had some with the chickpeas pasta. Kept in the fridge in an upcycled jar ( a clean pickled beet jar), comes in very handy.
No pics, sorry.
Oh and I got two Birta water filter jugs and filters from Amazon, for my boyfriend and me. So, I got used to the filtered water as of yesterday, and I feel it is better for the health that way. It tasted aa little sweeter, in a way. Using the city tap water and filtering it makes financial sense to us, too.
