Last night daughter cooked dinner at hers. She never asked cooking times for lamb and chook on charcoal rotisserie. Her times were out an hour. Lamb was pink and chook was finished off in the microwave. I never said anything. And she forgot to make gravy. Oh well, she tried.
Browny was average. I guess cooking for 10 was harder for her.

Made some rice, sau·téd some shrimp in garlic butter, then put salmon on top of it with my homemade lemon, butter, herb reduction sauce.

Try a rice cooker.

Add rice, cover with water, add salt, turn on.

20 or so minutes later add a little butter and fluff up.

That's how I cooked rice for years, before I got a rice cooker. Lid on, I assume?

It was only 80F/27C this evening, so I fired up the gas grill, and cooked some "wangs" (spoken with a thick Texas twang). Just SPG (salt, pepper, granulated garlic) for seasoning.
