What did you cook or eat today (June 2020)?

I'm sure you could keep one indoors. We have an avocado plant growing in our hall that was raised from a stone, and is now nearing the ceiling. It won't fruit, but then you don't need fruit on a kaffir lime tree.

May I ask where you bought it from?

No room - except possibly upstairs bathroom. There's an idea...

It's only about 6" high, in a 4" pot. Cost about £12.

MypinchofItaly's scallop recipe - was lovely, thank you!

Looks so yummy, one thing I recently learnt about kaffir leaves is to cut both sides of the central membrane. Throw that bit away. And tear the leaves to get better taste. I have a tree as well, the grated zest is amazing eh?

I didn’t think my hamburger stew, which I shared earlier, could be made any better. But, I think did. I toasted hamburger bun, cut it into croutons, and sprinkled some sesame seeds, since these buns did not have seeds on them. I also added some pickled onions. And, more dill pickle. I am always open to adding more pickle to my life.

Yes, I’m drinking my burger, and a famous company once said, “I’m lovin’ it”...every spoonful.
