In college we had to cut brunoise with carrots at no more than 3mm squares, the French do it even smaller. It wouldn't really work for potatoes, it's used mainly for soups.
I thought about taking classes at a community college. Then I found out it is just basic cooking classes

Oatmeal tart with nectarine filling. Nice with this heatwave.

Black beans and rice adobo with shredded chicken. I started out making black bean soup but along the way it became this instead. I used some chipotle chilies in adobo sauce when I cooked the chicken and then used that broth as the base for everything else. It's spicy, creamy and rich. Yum. #peasant food

Sopa de fideo - no pics because I've been slightly annoyed for the last couple of hours.

I'd never heard of fideo pasta, and when the virus first started and all the pasta was sold out, fideo was all I could find, so I bought it.

Didn't know what to do with it, or what sort of recipe it was made for, so I did a little googling and the only recipe that kept coming up was sopa de fideo, so that's what I made.

Still morning here. Just me and mr7 tonight for dinner, was going to take a pizza out of the freezer. We may have fish n chips ???? He loves both.
