Burger and wedges.
I tried posting the pictures but Morning Glory took them down.
I really, really want to see it. Who shot it, Mrs. T? I'm sure the neighbors are all quite used to his antics by now. "What's that screaming noise, Mildred? Oh, it's just Mr. T in his skivvies, again. The new neighbors just got their first glimpse."This is completely untrue. I would have left them up for all to see. C'mon The Velvet Curtain, did you not know that TastyReuben wore suspenders and no trousers and paraded outside his house (on my request). Can't find the link right now but the photo is somewhere on the forum.
Now I'm way off topic...
You don't know the half of it.I really, really want to see it. Who shot it, Mrs. T? I'm sure the neighbors are all quite used to his antics by now. "What's that screaming noise, Mildred? Oh, it's just Mr. T in his skivvies, again. The new neighbors just got their first glimpse."
You do realize how, at a quick glimpse without my readers on, "he cooks" could be totally misread. On my birthday one year, my wife sent me a funny meme that listed all my virtues. Most of them were rather rude and can't be shared here, but two of the items listed said "...he cooks, he cleans..."
Doesn't Thousand island dressing have mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and pickle in it? I'm not fond of it on a salad but on a Big Mac it's ok.
Maybe in the US TI is different? Even in the US the ingredients can vary slightly depending on whether one is making it themselves or between various brands. It's not something I buy, that's for sure. I'd never put that on a salad. No idea if there is pickle in Thousand Island, I always thought TI was a commercial rose mare sauce.
The cheeseburger sauce really tastes like Maccas cheeseburgers though and we have “burger sauce” that’s a pretty good approximation of Big Mac sauce.

About half a dozen couples used to have a dinner club in Chester. We tended to focus on Indian restaurants but eventually decided we could do better. About every month or two the "dinner club" meal was hosted by one of us. The host cooked the rice and bread/chapatis/poppadoms and each of the others cooked a curry (pre-planned). Interesting that the "cooks" were invariably the males.
When I was in my 20s, I dated a few chefs. I never had to cook. I didn't even have to help, I'd just chill in the living room drinking wine and listening to music.
In my 30s I met my husband who had custody of his 4 children. His cooking skills were limited. I learned to cook.
I see nothing wrong with men in aprons turning out fantastic food. I miss it sometimes.
Last weekend was a long weekend here and there was much cooking that I apparently didn’t share here so I will rectify that.
My partners birthday & he requested chicken schnitzels- some of which rivaled that pork & cheese monster for size.

Coleslaw, pickles, caponata, grated pecorino & schnitzels

Caesar salad, lemon wedges, mayo & rolls/bread slices.
So everyone could have their schnitzels how they like them.
