Meijer had a sale on baby back ribs. $10 a rack, so I'm doing this beer braise again. I added liquid smoke this time. I think I'm on to something here.

Beef Broccoli over that ever present steamed White Rice, mmm, ONO (that's Hawaiian for delish!)

Oh, and Happy Hour over at Mrs. NextDoorNeighbor's ... she always has my wine and I always bring a tray of nibbles ...

Trader Joe's Sea Salt and Multi-grain Pita Crackers, as well their Raisin & Rosemary
Trader Joe's Mini Brie, FaceRock Creamery Vampire Slayer Garlic Cheddar and Chèvre with Garlic and Herbs
I'm glad that I've found a group of Gal Pals who love Cheese as much as I do

Yesterday's dinner, sauteed potatoes with beef sausage and broccoli/carrots. Sausage is a little wrinkled from the airfryer.

And dessert:

Strawberries from a local grower, literally down the road with vanilla cream.

[Edit: the baked beans (Branston) had Kraft barbecue sauce added during the heating, hence the darker colour].

Sweet potato chips, garden peas, Fry's nuggets and a home grown fried egg.

Lunch today
Rice cakes, hummus, tofu, homemade spicy pear chutney and a couple of tomatoes.

As you can see, we splash out for Sunday lunch!

TVC is that the same as TVP? Textured vegetable protein. Like soy something? To simulate meat texture?

I must have cought a 24 hour bug, because in the past couple hours I went from feeling great to feeling like garbage. This stuff dissolved in hot water is like liquid crack. It's so tasty.

I have never been called textured vegetable protein before
