Dinner this evening. The restaurant's own made pasta with lamb ragu, delicious but far too much pasta, sadly we both left some, don't like wasting food but there was just too much.

A lot of chicken on that menu. Not much steak. But, a "New Zealand" restaurant in Texas would not be any more "authentic" to NZ food.
You need a Texas Roadhouse. They are a chain joint, too, but pretty good steaks. You pick your own steak, and they cook it.

Yeah I'd feel at home there. We live pretty well on steaks so sometimes chicken is nice. I had lamb at a restaurant 2 days ago as well.
Growing up there was a chain called big tex. We never ate there. They had a big wagon out front. Always looked cool. I was 13?
Gone by the time I had dosh in my pocket.
I know I'd like Mexican as well. Genuine!!
