Yes, here your driving licence and passport photos are linked so long as it’s in date you can tick a box to use that pic.
I used my passport photo to renew my driving licence.
Made me happy cos I look a lot older since I took that pic 😂

But then when my passport expired they knew I needed a more up to date one and requested a new photo, it was simple though, the actual passport application walked you through taking your own pic with a mobile against a blank wall, it was easy peasy 👍

The fact I look like a cross between Morticia and Cruella de Vil in it is neither here 😆

Tiny Thai Terror sent a message cancelling my massage at 10.30am. My appointment was 10.30am! I think she forgot. Really need it too. Hmph.

Thinking of making pizza to cheer myself up (everyone knows pizza is good for neck pain and general analgesia 😉) but I wasn't sure about using the outdoor oven in sub zero temps, I could imagine the thermal shock busting it into pieces.

But other users have said they use theirs down to -15c (5F) with no problems so I think I'm gonna go for it.
Will run it a 40c (104F) first cos going straight in at 700F offends my anthropomorphising sensibilities! 😂
 
Nothing happening today. There's a huge protest march planned for the presidential inauguration tomorrow and the atmosphere is, shall I say, a little tense. Airports occupied by the military, entrances to Caracas blocked by military intelligence thugs, threats left, right and centre. Time to stay at home and do some cooking!

Not too bad as I got the amount to pay reduced.
Still much more than I expected. My fault as I assumed to pay VAT over sales value.
Instead it was
Customs charge over sales value + transport
VAT over that amount
+ an extra charge as advance tax payment that I managed to get rid of.
Oh, and clearance fees
 
Plans are to tidy up as the place seems to have slipped into a bit of a mess and then make some pizza dough.

Might make some Panna Cotta too as I’m finding it difficult to give up having something sweet after a main meal and eating sugary stuff everyday isn’t a healthy thing do to.

This is a bad habit I’ve picked up from Mr SSOAP. Growing up for me pudding was only on Sunday but Mr SSOAP grew up with pudding after every meal, usually whatever is was would be served with both cream and ice cream!

Hopefully Panna Cotta will hit the mark! 🤷‍♀️

We always had something sweet after every meal, if possible, and our snacks in between were frequently something sweet.

As adults, we don’t really do that very often, apart from something with our evening cup of tea. I’ll occasionally make a dessert for a challenge here, but we usually reserve that for eating out somewhere.

Right now, though, the house is filled with sweets, so it feels like I’m having dessert every time I get up and eat some chocolate. :laugh:
 
Prep for a Korean stir fry for dinner using Japchae/dangmyeon/sweet potato noodles, a new to us product. The noodles are GF and vegan. Will be interesting to taste them unseasoned.

It's rainy here today for a few hours, just a few hours of seasonably warm temps, and then the temperature drops again, not quite as bad as low to mid 40s for lows the last few days, but still well down into the 50s early a.m. hours, which is cold for us.

Hopefully work on my minis some today. A new project, an Asian fortune teller. Don't have my doll yet, but we have a side project of making a table for her. I have a couple of options in mind.
