That shouldn’t have made me laugh, but it did. :laugh:

I think it’s equal parts cost, laziness, and (as hard as it may be to get one’s head around it), a perceived lack of ROI. :laugh:

Haha I'm so dulled by the remnants of the gin monster I had to google ROI to then have that "you bloody idiot you know that" feeling 🤣

I mean it's not like the restaurant quality labour is costing you a lot so a splurge on something rare must be on the cards?!

Surely you have your kid’s credit card number somewhere - you need to treat yourself with some pizza, a cake, some expensive beer…all delivered, of course, and leave the driver a big tip! :laugh:

I just can't imagine Karadekoolaid ordering pizza as a birthday treat (can you get that stuff delivered in Venezuela?).
I demand something more refined for him to reinforce my perceptions 😆

We’re on day 1 of what is predicted to be a multi-day heat wave. Unseasonably warm for June, but get used to it -climate change has arrived.

Luckily my house has air conditioning, from my ground-source heat pump and powered by the solar panels on my roof, so I should be able to stay cool.
