No, not at all. It would never occur to me to eat dried baked ramen. I had to validate that by finding two other recipes, just to see if the first one I found was some kind of bad joke.

I probably ate something similar in college but don't really remember. I was very inventive though.

Yesterday was a holiday here, so we had my parents over for dinner.

Martinis for a before-dinner cocktail, then for the main we had bruschetta chicken (basically grilled chicken with bruschetta topping - tomatoes and basil from my garden), potato salad, and watermelon salad (watermelon, feta cheese, black olives, lots of lime and mint from the garden). My dad brought over a peach pie for dessert.

Very delicious, but I forgot to take photos!

Using up perishables before we head out Saturday, so made some bacon sandwiches with an opened package of Irish bacon, some fresh tomatoes, and lettuce. Corn-on-the-cob on the side.
