Spur of the moment vegetable soup.

This is something I need to do. I haven't appreciated a good vegetable soup in a very long time.

This one was nice. I usually used canned tomatoes, but I had a bunch of fresh ones lying around, so I used those instead (along with cabbage and potatoes and corn from the farm stand around the corner), and it’s got a really bright, fresh taste.

I baked up the last of the Zucchini, some San Marzanos, and other garden goodies.

I just had a pie. The last bottle of Worcestershire sauce was salty. This new batch is so much better.

Mongolian beef and jasmine rice.

16 hour smoked pulled pork with homemade Eastern Carolina mop sauce on a brioche bun with slaw on top. Served with plenty of pickles and pickled red onions and a parmesan crisp. With cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Scratch, of course.

Nasi goreng....
One egg broke and you couldn't really see the nasi, thats why it's flipped double.
On the left is a cabbage quick pickle (atjar)

I had a late lunch of tuna salad and arugula (instead of lettuce) on seeded semolina Italian bread and tomato salad. So will probably just have a snack later.
