Sorry - I meant the third image! Harvard beets eh? What does that mean?

Harvard beets are cooked beets that are then served in a thick sweet-and-sour sauce. The sauce is very thick, almost like gel, not a thin sauce, and it’s usually served warm.

Out and about, elevenses a gfree vanilla muffin in a city park, previously had coffee.

Lunch was a good pork with potatoes.
There was an Italian tourist couple seated right next to me. The husband fancied what I ate, but they ended up ordering pasta, both.

Beef tenderloin with St. Agur blue cheese sauce. We got some green beans from the garden. I planted them after we realized that none of the yellow beans were going to grow. So, a little later in the season.

Tovala meals. Craig had meatballs with maple-bourbon BBQ sauce, with sweet potatoes with a pecan streusel as a side. I had gnocchi in an Alfredo sauce, with roasted mushrooms and a drizzle of basil vinaigrette. I couldn't eat all of mine so Craig got around 1/3. They were both pretty darn good, even the BBQ sauce I tasted, and I don't like maple normally.

I don’t know, but it was about the best chicken I’ve had in a long, long time. The fat was still sizzling under the skin.

I belive they would be broasted. It's the best parts of roasting and deep frying all in one. I love broasted chicken.
