Low country style shrimp and grits

Stuffed Shells
I got three trays of Shells stuffed with Ricotta, Mozz, Parm, Italian Sausage, Spinach, a pinch a freshly grated Nutmeg, S&P, some fresh Parsley and an egg to bind it all together.
I shared one tray with Mr&Mrs NDN and left one in our `fridge for dinner tomorrow - we have a busy afternoon, so it'll be nice to come home and simply pop this into the oven for about half an hour.
Best of all, it's in an aluminum pan, disposable!
 
Seems that this didn’t post last night.

So, last night's evening meal which would have been great for 35°C became tonight's evening meal and it was only 12°C...

Cold avocado, chilli and coconut soup with brown basmati rice. It is actually delicious and soothing for the sore throat I acquired overnight, but not particularly warming on a damp, cold summer's day.

I added a hot vegan sausage roll to the meal.
 
We had our fancy Christmas meal out. I’ll post pics tomorrow - my stomach hurts too much right now. :laugh:

A coupla things:

1. MrsT changed the restaurant. 🤷‍♂️
2. It started out on the wrong foot with the waitress missing us, but they more than made up for it by comping us over $40 in cocktails and an appetizer.
