What did you cook or eat today (February 2025)

Looks very nice - I made ribs yesterday.

They seem to have hit the mark. I love a whole rack of ribs but fancied a firmer less fatty version.

These reminded me of the Chinese ones my mum used to massacre back in the 80’s by cooking them on too high a heat for too long til they were hard and chewy, but every now n then you’d get one that had remained hidden and protected by the other ribs and it oh my it tasted so good!

These were like those hidden un-cremated gems 😋
I’m thinking of sending the recipe and method to my brothers. I think they’d love a whole plate of the good bits. It would probably blow their minds that it was possible 😂
 
Last night Chinese stirfry. Finished it with oyster sauce. Was real good.
Today's coffee with a friend who was laid off from work last year and wants to talk. I know hes struggling with coping.
Then a few beers with my bestie dafyd .
Tea will prolly be a burger on the way home.
