Have found my ipad so should be able to post pics now 👍

I need to get a new electric kettle. The one I bought six months ago suddenly died. It was a popular brand, and loved the controls, but it just stopped working one day, for no apparent reason. :headshake:

Tinned tuna, chickpeas, avocado salad. I think there are some chopped up quail's eggs in there too. The dressing isn't mayonnaise. Its fat-reduced (Morrison's) salad cream whipped up with kefir yoghurt and Dijon mustard.

That's disappointing.

In the UK electrical goods are guaranteed against faults for a year by law. Buy from John Lewis it's two years. That won't get you around a failing kettle but it's a bit of a balm.

My 'village hall kettle' and by that I mean my large capacity kettle folk of my age or older are used to seeing in a church or large school hall meeting (usually Burco) is now 15 years old and still going. Can't say that of any other oft used electrical item I use.

Last night's and tonight's evening meal. We've finished up the strudel and the cashew miso sauce I make. Finally eaten all of that massive cauliflower (it's taken 4 attempts for 2 of us. That's 8 servings from 1 head of cauliflower that cost $2.50 (£1.25)).

Still got some broccoli left over though. The round thing at the top of the first photo is a baked onion that's been peeled.
