A month or so ago, I was invited on a Gourmet Tour around the city, and one of the places we stopped at was a Neapolitan Pizza place. The owner went to Naples to learn how to make "Verace Pizza Napoletana", and has a certificate to prove it.Also, now Detroit for their thick square pizza!! And don't forget the Italian pizza. They still argue that THEIRS is the best!!
I think a large number of Americans would probably have an apoplectic fit if they were served this delicious pizza, with mortadella, pistacho cream and burrata:
