Salad:

What are those squiggly things on top of the salad?

Sweet and spicy tofu bibimbap with fried egg. Not pictured are the spicy mayo drizzled on top, and the large quantity of mushrooms husband had on his (I hadn’t realized mushrooms was one of the main ingredients when I ordered from Hello Fresh).

I love those things! They come with Chinese takeout or Chinese canned meal kits like La Choy. I think they are crispy chow mein noodles? It's been awhile since I ate them.

YES! That's got to be it - I'm sure I've eaten some but it might have been like 50 years ago

Yes, as mentioned, La Choy chow mein noodles, they make a dandy substitute for crackers or croutons.

I can't remember what I ate for breakfast, maybe it was coffee only.
Running errands around, a cornflour Kipferl and coffee.

Lunch will be leftovers pasta bake and veg stew.

Will do ground turkey meatballs and a chocolate cake for daughter.

If I have time, might do a 2nd challenge entry.

I made hummous (my version) a couple days ago, but I overdosed it a bit with garlic and it was a bit thin.
So I decided to do something different with it.
Added flour, some bacon and finely sliced green beans and fried it

Prep amd unplated versions of ground turkey meatballs in tomato sauce, and the chocolate cake with standard ingredients.

Cooling off, will post pics later or tomorrow of plated dishes.

Daughter is 3h away from home, travelling by bus.

The packaged chocolate was already soft, before I put it into butter to melt. 36c now.

Gotta put my apron for washing. Just realized it is that time.

Shrimp cocktail and vegetables. Starting at 12 o'clock, zucchini, criminis, carrots, small red potatoes, celery, and of course the shrimp. Homemade cocktail sauce and purchased 1000 island dressing.
